The story of ‘Buying the Virgin’ started out as a simple little story of a week of auction-erotica frolics as told from the point of view of Charlotte ‘The Virgin’, with James, her purchaser and Master, and his friend Michael. This was five episodes making up what is now ‘Buying the Virgin’ Box Set One
The tale has, however, grown in the telling and has expanded to Four Box Sets of ‘Buying the Virgin’ (BTV), five Box Sets of ‘Mastering the Virgin’ (MTV), followed by ‘Charlotte’s Search’, new characters were introduced in ‘Kirstie’s Tale’ and it has absorbed ‘Bought by the Billionaire’ whole. We have ‘The Master’s Child’, ‘The Lover’s Children’, and now, ‘Best Served Cold’. Older characters have been further developed (The Billionaire’s Bride), and previous side-characters now have developing stories of their own (Rough Diamond).
Overall, we’re knocking on the door of two million words so, understandably enough, I’m receiving an increasing number of requests for a suggested reading order for the books. lol!
So, I’ve put together the following guide. It’s by no means set in stone. Much of BTV and MTV can be read interchangeably, and The ‘Bought by the Billionaire’ storyline only merges with the tale part way in. But for those of you who are perhaps new to the story or who have encountered it halfway through, perhaps with a free download of ‘Triad’ or similar, here’s a suggested reading order for you.
I update the information with each new story in the sequence, both here and in the series timeline post.

I just finished Best Served Cold and wanted to know if there will be anything after that? I absolutely loved the whole series. Could not stop reading it. Went from book right into the other book. I cannot say enough about the charters. Just loved how they all flowed well with each other.

But also, there’s a prequel you may want to read first, ‘Rough Diamond’. It leaps back 10 years, and in it, you’ll learn a lot more about Hickman. As a matter of course, I steer clear of politics in my writing. I have opinions, but I’m selling entertainment, not rhetoric, so normally I avoid the discussions. To answer your questions:
1) Buying the Virgin was the first version written of the story – told mainly from Charlotte’s viewpoint. Due to popular demand, I went on to write Mastering the Virgin, as told by ‘The Boys’ in which you see event unfold from their POV, but you also learn a lot more about how Michael and James met and how they interact.
2) Yes, having completed the ‘Mastering the Virgin’ series in audio, I’m just starting on the next part of the story – Charlotte’s Search’. In fact, the first audio files hit my inbox this morning from the narrator, Brian Meslar. So, I should have ‘Her Master’s Wedding’ available for you in a week or so’s time. Are you signed up to my newsletter? If you are, you receive the news when it is available.

I have to say, there are very few writers that will continue a series. Out of three authors that I have read because I do love reading ongoing sagas, (it is too easy to get sucked in) You are the best author by far, hands down! I would however like to say I would not be surprised to find that you are a male writer using a pen name. There is a difference in the writing styles between a male and a female. If I am wrong, I am wrong, but I don’t believe I am. 🙂 Thank you for this glorious series. And yes, I became totally confused about the order in which to read them because I am a later comer in reading this series. Part of the downside to buying books on Amazon. There should be a much easier way of having an author’s page and everything lined up on that page for different series. Thank you for the joy and emotions you have brought to this reader. Needless to say, even though I am a KU subscriber, I have purchased every one of the books in the series. Thanks again!

You maybe female (and from your writing style I believe you are) BUT, lol, you write wth a strange non reserve feeling, which is more male than female- I love the way you convey so much by description, point in case your descriptions around smiles is something else , but most FW (female writers) don’t pick up on imo the Full as life descriptions when writing, it’s the little things you put in that some timing (like making coffee, getting another bottle of wine, and the fact it’s a trip to the kitchen) that settles the reader into being there not just reading about it… I’m about to start re reading the virgin and masters books for a 2nd time, but gong to read chapter by chapter from each book to get the POV from each as they happen… the only thing, and I mean only thing I’d love is a small nonella on James and his married life, I’d love to read about his thinking and his verbal conversations with the ex, while he was still married, after all he’s so stone cold sometimes it would be good to see how he really ended up as staunch as he is.. (plus a woman who went not on your Nellie mate)… love all your writing keep it up…

Hi Simone, your books are incredible. It’s not just smut but a little bit of everything, realistic in that the triad struggled with their feelings for each other in the beginning and worrying about what family members will think of their arrangement. Two family members downright disagreed with the way they chose to live their lives, eventually everything fell into place. Though throughout the books I often find myself being sad for Michael, he loves her so much but she obviously loves James more. Otherwise I really enjoyed your books, couldn’t put it down. When is Kirstie,s Christmas wedding coming out? Also the action part of it is genius. Thank you for such a great read

Kirstie’s Take is a side story but introduced her character.
