This book is one that just fell into place, like when you shake the bottom hem of the sheet and it just floats across the bed to lay flat without any wrinkles where something could hide. All the answers you’ve been looking for have been answered. Are there happily ever afters? Yes, I’d say so. Simone Leigh has tied things up very neatly while leaving avenues open to continue with the story if her characters continue to lead. There is one that I’ve shed a few tears over because I’ve developed a soft spot for the character. And my personal hope is they get a happily ever after as well, but that’s for another day and at Ms. Leigh’s discretion. This was a truly erotic, gut-wrenching, heart-warming book. It’s very difficult to say too much without giving things away but Charlotte got everything she wanted and more and Klempner, well you can make up your own mind but I saw a different side to the man. Well done Simone, I have loved every single page of Charlotte’s Search and I am sad that it had to end.
