Delicious! A feast for the senses! Anna is a free spirit, but is that all there is to it? A modern woman, on her own in Spain, she takes what she wants and right now, she’s set her sights on a young, handsome cyclist for one night of love. Simone Leigh really gives me the feeling that I am on holiday in this story. Her love of detail, the light, the food, the customs. She’s done her homework, as always, and she gets an A+. Anna is so real, with flaws (if they can be called such), that make her instantly appealing to me. Her lifestyle is at odds with the Spanish mentality but I can relate to her so well. What’s wrong with a one night stand? Nothing. She gets what she wants and she moves on. Or does she run away and if so, what’s she running away from? I’ll be reading the other books in this series so I guess I’ll find out. Great compact read. I can trust Simone Leigh to never let me down
