5 Stars: So far this year, I have read 168 books including thrillers, romances, suspense, intrigue, and erotica, and this story is hands-down the best I have read. I feel as if I have run a marathon reading the efforts of the women to keep the children safe, the men to come to save the women, wanting to slap a certain small person and say shut up at one point and perhaps not that politely, and the righteousness I felt when the evil was stopped – well, that got a fist pump and a loudly yelled yes!! How silly of the good-guys to not realise how capable the women were, and how stupid of the bad-guys – especially the ghastly mafia diva – to think that they could win against the people who had already shown that they would not give up. Damn good series Simone Leigh – I bow down to your writing talent – you have big shoes to fill now with whatever you choose to write next. (Cheryl Joy – Amazon.com (Cold War) )
